Before coming up with our final design, we brain stormed several different ideas and after coming up with them, we used weighted benefit analysis to choose the best solution.

5 ideas for design challenge:

 

1. Accommodation station for service dogs (food, water, bathroom, sleep), includes a place to tie dog leash to the wall, and provide dog waste bags

2. Easy cleanup system for dog hair throughout the building to prevent allergies

3. Revamp arts and crafts containers to make them more user friendly, and try to eliminate the need for constant volunteer attention

4. App that allows users (members and volunteers) to know what events are occuring at the center and RSVP through the app

5. Smart glasses that can read text and physically guide user. Can connect it to your phone and connect to apps such as text messages, phone, and GPS.
